Morocco has had a multi-party system since independence in 1956. The Moroccan electoral system leads the political parties to seek coalition governments. Although, the prime minister and four governments were appointed with the king of Morocco. Also in western sahara and southern regions are active political parties.
Authenticity and Modernity Party: An attempt by mohammed VI's allies to create more strength in Morocco.
Amazigh Moroccan Democratic Party: Amazigh party was a needed solution to defend the Moroccan Berber identity and help the neglected masses from poverty and discrimination.
